"Over the Christmas holidays
our team had 9 days off from our league play, so I was out on the ice
for my own conditioning. I wore the weights... and boy, did I ever
like them! I found them to be the perfect weight, not to heavy
nor to light, but just enough to not jeopardize technique or agility.
I play in the National
Women's Hockey League (NWHL) for a team called the Mississauga Aeros
and I can honestly say that after just using the weights for a few
practices, I felt a huge difference in my leg strength and speed
during my skating stride."
